On Sunday, regime President Hassan Rouhani held a press briefing urging the Iranian people to participate in this Friday’s Majlis (parliamentary) elections. The briefing was a stunning reversal of his earlier criticisms of the elections, which he had previously called a “selection,” and clearly demonstrates the regime’s deep concerns about a nationwide boycott of the elections.

On 8th January, the Iranian regime was in the middle of launching missiles towards American targets in Iraq. It was carrying out these attacks in retaliation against the killing of Qassem Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force, an extra-territorial branch of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). While these missiles were being launched, a passenger aircraft was shot down, killing all on board – 176 passengers and crew.
Radio clip exposes that the Iranian authorities were informed about the downing of the Ukrainian plane by IRGC from the beginning.
Ukrainian TV station TSN broadcast an audio file that proves the Iranian Regime not only shot down a Ukrainian plane on January 8, killing all 176 civilians onboard but also that they knew about it from the very beginning.
“We are approaching from the north, 3768. Flares like a missile. Is there something there?” asked the pilot of flight 3768 of the Air Aseman airlines from the control tower of Tehran’s international airport early morning Wednesday, January 8.
Ukraine International Airlines flight 752 was shot down on 8th January by the notorious Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Coming so soon after the killing of IRGC Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani, international suspicions pointed the finger at the Iranian regime – but Iranian aviation authorities tried to portray the incident as being due to a technical failure. However, very soon, the IRGC had to admit that it was an error – it believed that the commercial plane was a cruise missile. All 176 crew and passengers died as a result of the accident.
