NCRI Representative in Germany Masumeh Bolurchi delivered a powerful speech at a gathering in Munich on February 17, calling for the Revolutionary Guard Corps of the Iranian regime to be proscribed as a terrorist organization and condemning the invitation of the former dictator’s son Reza Pahlavi to the Munich Security Conference. Bolurchi expressed solidarity with the Iranian people who have been protesting against the regime for the past six months, demanding a democratic republic that ensures equality, the abolition of the death penalty, and the rights of oppressed nationalities.

Bolurchi criticized the Munich Security Conference for inviting Reza Pahlavi, stating that it gives the regime of the mullahs extra leverage to deflect and suppress the uprising. She argued that the future of Iran will be shaped by the people and their organized resistance. Bolurchi ended her speech with an inspirational quote from President-elect Maryam Rajavi of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), expressing a vision of a free, democratic, and prosperous Iran.“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”

Bolurchi stated, "The people of Iran, with their eloquent slogans, especially the slogan 'Death to Khamenei' and 'Death to the oppressor, be it the Shah or the Supreme Leader,' expressed their desire to overthrow this regime.

Bolurchi also criticized the Iranian regime’s embassies, calling them “nests of espionage and terror,” and called for their closure. She emphasized that the ongoing protests in Iran are not a spontaneous event but rather the result of the resistance of the Mujahideen Khalq Organization and other freedom fighters in Iran. Bolurchi reminded the audience that in 1988 alone, the clerical regime massacred 30,000 political prisoners who were steadfast in their beliefs.

They have shown their desire for the establishment of a democratic republic. They have clearly stated that they are strongly opposed to any type of dictatorship, including the return of the overthrown monarchy."

In conclusion, Bolurchi’s speech highlights the ongoing struggle of the Iranian people for a democratic and free Iran. Her call for the prescription of the Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization and the closure of the Iranian regime’s embassies serves as a reminder to the international community that action is needed to support the democratic aspirations of the Iranian people.
