Energy Agency (IAEA)

(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): Energy Agency (IAEA) Governing Council meeting began and the Vienna nuclear talks continued.

The Iranian government’s nuclear standoff appeared to be serious, as the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Governing Council meeting began and the Vienna nuclear talks continued. There is one thing that all of the regime’s nuclear-related solutions have in common. They’re all establishing a single global stage against the regime. Though it appeared that Joe Biden’s administration would shift from a harsh to a more flexible and appeasing policy toward the regime, they have not lifted any sanctions and have added some of the regime’s individuals and companies to the sanctions list, forcing other governments, such as China, to reduce their oil imports from Iran.

The time for reviving the JCPOA is running out

Now, US officials are telling the regime that if it refuses to stop its nuclear program and other crimes such as missile defence, terror assistance, and human rights violations, all options are on the table.

The US Secretary of Defense, Gen. Lloyd Austin, stated that the US remains committed to preventing the Iranian government from acquiring nuclear weapons and to finding a diplomatic solution to the Iranian nuclear issue, but that if the Iranian government refuses to engage seriously, the US will consider all security options available.

On Friday, November 19, US Special Envoy for Iran Robert Malley also stated that the time for reviving the JCPOA is running out and that the Iranian government is on the verge of irreversibly reviving the JCPOA after expanding its enriched uranium reserves.

France warned may vote against Iran

French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian was reported in Le Monde on November 19 as saying that France urges the Iranian regime against taking a false stance in the nuclear talks.

France has previously warned Iran’s administration that it may vote against it at an upcoming meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Board of Governors.

The International Atomic Energy Agency’s Director-General, Rafael Grossi, highlighted his alarm over the Iranian government’s nuclear program during the United Nations General Assembly. He indicated at the conference that the Iranian government’s decision to suspend its nuclear program commitments under the JCPOA had harmed the Agency’s fact-finding, monitoring, and oversight activities.

(PMOI / MEK Iran) and (NCRI): According to US officials, the regime can only lift nuclear sanctions to their maximum level if it agrees to negotiate with the West, specifically the US.

The Middle East fears mullahs intentions of the nuclear project

Grossi further stated that the presence of multiple man-made uranium particles in three places in Iran has not been notified to the IAEA and that another location is a source of worry.

(PMOI / MEK Iran) and (NCRI): At the same time, Middle Eastern countries’ fears about the Iranian government’s damaging actions have exacerbated the nuclear standoff.

The seriousness of this problem is such that on November 18, the political leaders of the three European countries, as well as Robert Malley, the US special envoy to Iran, convened in Riyadh with members of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Egypt, and Jordan.

The discussion, according to the German Foreign Ministry’s website, was devoted to the Iranian government’s provocative acts in the region, which these nations and its Western allies are pressing on, and which should be added to the issues of the Vienna talks.

In the event of a nuclear confrontation with Iran, Israel has frequently stated that it will conduct a military strike on the Iranian government’s nuclear sites.

The mullahs nuclear standoff is an important issue

Despite all of these factors working against it, the government continues to make the following statements, revealing its vulnerability:

  • All sanctions will be lifted.
  • Payment of damages by the United States as a result of its withdrawal from the JCPOA.
  • The United States’ assurance that it will not abandon the JCPOA.
  • The easing of US sanctions must be verified.
  • Any new agreements will exclude its missile and regional activity.

When these claims by the Iranian regime are examined, it becomes evident that the Iranian government will not be victorious at this table; in other words, the nuclear standoff is a major issue.

Despite all of these factors working against it, the government continues to make the above statements, revealing its vulnerability.
