MEK Iran: Mullah’s Regime Plundering Nation’s wealth on Belligerent Activities Abroad While Ignoring Health Crisis

MEK Iran – Mullah’s Regime Activities Abroad
The Coronavirus outbreak in Iran has still not been brought under control. The people are still vulnerable and the regime is failing to protect them. In the latest developments, it has become known that the regime is continuing to plunder national resources on malign projects that further its interests.
The regime has supported Syrian dictator Bashar al Assad for many years, in particular during the Syrian civil war in which it spent considerable funds and provided extensive support in the form of personnel, weapons, and training. Iran’s involvement in the Syrian civil war has resulted in the deaths of more than 700,000 Syrians. The Iranian regime did, and still does, enjoy a lack of firm policy that would curb its influence.
Last week, Fox News reported that Iran’s notorious Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has been working on constructing a tunnel at a military base in the eastern part of Syria. It was reported by Fox News that the tunnel is clearly for the stockpiling of advanced weapons systems. The news agency published satellite images of the construction.
Only a few months ago, the IRGC had been working on a similar project just a few miles away, but the plans were stopped after a bombardment made further progress impossible.
Despite the ongoing #coronavirus crisis in #Iran and reports of more deaths and cases across the country on a daily basis, people from all walks of life are reportedly holding checkered protests demanding better conditions.#IranProtests https://t.co/duvDmzDX66

The fact that the regime is continuing with such activities while the people of Iran are going through one of the most serious crises in recent times shows the regime’s intentions. It is never going to put the people first. It is always going to put its interests first. The Iranian regime is extremely concerned about an imminent uprising that is brewing because of the nationwide discontent. Crisis after crisis in the country is weakening the stability of the country and the people are sick of seeing the regime’s corruption and negligence.
The PMOI / MEK Iran and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) have taken great efforts to help the people of Iran that have been left extremely vulnerable by the government.
The death toll due to Coronavirus continues to rise every day. The people’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK) announced on Monday, May 18, 2020, that the Coronavirus fatalities in 319 cities across Iran had exceeded 42,600. Nurses and doctors are still saying that many hospitals are working overcapacity. There is a lack of personal protective equipment (PPE) for many that need it.
And the reports that the IRGC sent humanitarian cargo to Lebanon is infuriating to the people. While the people of Iran are left vulnerable, the regime is sending much-needed supplies abroad, including PPE, disinfectant, thousands of COVID-19 diagnostic kits, and ventilators.
The #Iranian regime is running out of time. State-run media quickly acknowledges that the current situation in Iran is volatile and it won’t be long before the change will be forced by the people.https://t.co/PQN0RUpzDZ#Iran #MEK #COVIDー19 @USAdarFarsi

The plundering of the nation’s wealth time and time again is unforgivable. The people of Iran are getting poorer and poorer and purchasing power is declining rapidly. Unemployment has been a major problem in the country for years and it continues to decline. The current health crisis is exacerbating all of the problems that the people of Iran face, including suppression.
The regime knows that an uprising is imminent so it is cracking down even more on the people in an attempt to contain anger and discontent. However, this is pointless as the people have made it clear that they are more determined than ever to see the regime fall.
