Iran is witnessing escalating protests against the corrupt rule of the regime, with people from different walks of life taking to the streets in demonstrations.

According to sources from the People’s Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the protests have spread to at least 282 cities, with over 750 people killed and more than 30,000 arrested by the regime’s forces. The names of 647 killed protesters have been published by the MEK.

Farmers in Isfahan, steelworkers in Ahvaz, and families of locals arrested in Abdanan in Ilam Province have all recently taken part in major anti-regime protests. In Tehran, members of MEK Resistance Units projected an image of Iranian Resistance Leader Massoud Rajavi and NCRI President-elect Maryam Rajavi.

In Isfahan, farmers are continuing their protests over the drying of the Zayandehrud River, which has left their lands and crops devastated due to the regime’s corrupt policies. Meanwhile, women in Khash in Sistan & Baluchestan Province are protesting the arrest of local religious leaders by the regime’s security forces.

Retirees and pensioners of the telecommunications industry in Khuzestan Province rallied in Ahvaz, continuing previous protests held in other cities across Iran over their low pensions and poor economic conditions. Early Monday morning, protesters in Tehran and other cities were seen torching pro-regime propaganda billboards and posters, while investors in the state-owned Kerman Motor Company rallied outside the regime’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade demanding answers and the return of their stolen money.

Anti-regime slogans such as “Death to the dictator!” were heard on Sunday night in various districts of Tehran, while in Abdanan in Ilam Province, families of detained protesters took to the streets demanding their release. Students of Tarbiat Modares University in Tehran held a gathering in support of a prisoner on hunger strike and to protest prison sentences issued by the regime’s judiciary. Contract workers of green areas in East Azerbaijan Province rallied in Tabriz over constant power outages. In Ahvaz, workers of the Kavian Steel Company went on strike, demanding official working contracts and better pay.

Maryam Rajavi slammed the mullahs’ regime for failing to provide aid to the people of Khoy following the January 28th earthquake, which left thousands of people in desperate conditions, especially given the bitter winter cold.

“The death of a mother and son in Khoy due to cold and the gas poisoning of over 100 earthquake-hit residents are heartbreaking. Shame on the mullahs’ predatory regime that has abandoned our fellow citizens and continues to steal public aid. The only solution is Iran revolution,” the NCRI President-elect emphasized.
