On July 23 and 24, the Iranian Resistance will hold its yearly “Free Iran World Summit 2022: Iran on the Brink of Change.” This summit aims to create a unified international front that opposes the theocracy in Iran and the appeasement approach taken by Western powers.Numerous eminent politicians and parliamentary representatives from both sides of the Atlantic and elsewhere will attend this summit. Tens of thousands of Iranians from all over the world will participate in the event online. The “Free Iran” conference this year is taking place as public discontent with the regime grows and the mullahs are mired in unsolvable domestic and global crises.

The regime’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, chose an unscrupulous mass murderer like Ebrahim Raisi as its president in response to these crises in order to exacerbate domestic oppression and adopt an aggressive stance toward the international community.

The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), also known as the 2015 Iran Nuclear Deal, has failed in round after round of fruitless negotiations to be revived, and Tehran has used dual nationals and foreigners as hostages to extort the international community.

Assadollah Assadi, an Iranian prison official involved in the 1988 genocide, was imprisoned by the Iranian regime and is a terrorist. The disgraceful deal between Tehran and Brussels to free him, as well as the regime’s pressure on Sweden to free him, are part of its plots against the viable alternative. These schemes are the regime’s response to its international defiance.

The Free Iran World Summit 2022 will take place as the regime finds itself in a strategic impasse as a result of the recent polarization of the world’s population against authoritarian governments, which have long protected Tehran from the noose of international pressure.

The “Free Iran” summit organized by the Iranian Resistance is focused on bringing together international democratic forces in opposition to the Iranian regime’s religious tyranny and in support of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) as a democratic alternative.

This year’s international conference is being attended by thousands of the MEK’s “Resistance Units” inside Iran, who represent all facets of the nation’s unstable society. Tens of thousands of their fellow countrymen will support them worldwide, along with well-known politicians from all corners of the globe.

The “Free Iran World Summit” will demand an end to the ominous rule of Iran’s ruling theocracy, which not only lacks social and political legitimacy inside the nation but also poses a threat to peace and stability in the region and beyond due to its belligerent policies, exportation of terrorism, and hostage-taking to blackmail the international community.

The NCRI will be emphasized as a strong and legitimate alternative to the Iranian regime at the 2022 World Summit, with support from both the domestic and global communities. Additionally, Iranians will hold simultaneous events in various nations and connect to the "Free Iran World Summit."
