Iran’s resistance movement will overthrow the mullahs’ tyrannical regime, but the international community can help, according to a member of the Resistance Units in a recent interview with Just The News.

.Khosrow, who is assisting in the organization of anti-regime demonstrations, stated that the Iranian people have always relied on themselves to build a free Iran and do not expect anyone else to do so for them.”However, as a representative of the Resistance Units, we want the United States and the international community to end their appeasement policy toward the regime and impose sanctions on this octopus, which has so many hands and causes so much death and destruction,” he said.

In recent decades, the West’s policy has primarily been to appease Iran’s regime by offering Tehran concessions in order to address the threats it poses. This policy has completely failed, and the regime has become even more aggressive in its terrorism, human rights violations, and pursuit of a nuclear weapon as a result.

While the regime has taken advantage of the West’s dithering, it has failed to weaken the Iranian Resistance’s resolve. The People’s Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI/MEK) -affiliated Resistance Units have carried out various activities against the regime in recent months, including a recent takeover of thousands of security cameras and servers in Tehran.

The mayor of Tehran issued an order on Sunday prohibiting all municipal employees from using computers.

“Please order all relevant personnel to refrain from turning on their computers from Monday, June 6 until further notice, due to recent complications seen in the Tehran Municipality applications, particularly the internal portals across the city of Tehran,” read a statement from Tehran authorities. “Any flaws will be viewed as administrative violations by the highest officials and directors, and they may be prosecuted.”

“This was a huge operation that gives the Iranian people a lot of hope,” Khosrow told Just The News. “It sends a message that all of the oppression, all of the criminals in this regime’s oppressive machinery, all of their crimes are now being exposed, and their oppressive tools are being taken away from them.”

The resistance has gained significant intelligence from this operation, according to Khosrow, and it will take at least weeks for the cameras to be fully operational again, making the coming days the ideal time for people to act.

“This exposes the regime’s weaknesses,” he said. “Its security apparatus is somewhat of a paper tiger — they no longer have the strength they were once propagating.”

In his interview with Just The News, Khosrow also discussed recent protests across Iran, including demonstrations that began as a protest against skyrocketing food prices but quickly morphed into anti-regime protests calling for the mullahs’ overthrow.

Khosrow stated, “Ordinary life is no longer possible.” “Things like recreation have vanished. People in Iran want the regime to fall, and they will use any issue as an excuse to protest, cry out against the oppression, and all the crimes.”

Despite the regime’s repressive measures aimed at silencing demonstrators’ voices, Khosrow emphasized in his remarks that the people will continue to resist and protest. Protesters have resisted security forces’ crackdown in recent weeks, raiding the bases of the regime’s repressive forces, such as the Basij.

Khosrow claims he was tortured and imprisoned in the Ministry of Intelligence and Security’s detention centers (MOIS). He stayed in touch with relatives of those killed in the regime’s crackdown on the November 2019 uprising, in which security forces killed over 1,500 protesters, after he was released.

He said, “I’m here.” “However, seeing the suffering of those families inspired me to join the resistance.” When asked how optimistic he is that the resistance will succeed, Khosrow stated that the regime will fall with or without US support.
