(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): MEK’s network inside Iran calls for an election boycott.
The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), reported that the internal network of the MEK organized a vast campaign across Iran calling for the boycott of the regime’s election sham.
As the mullahs’ regime approaches the Presidential Election in June 2021. For the past 42 years, the mullah regime deceived society by putting up a show of “reformists versus hardliners.”
However, in recent years, Iranian peoples have clearly announced that they see no distinction between these supposedly rivaling factions. In many anti-regime rallies and uprisings and people frequently chant “Reformists, hardliners, the game is over.”

The regime is facing a disastrous economic crisis, high inflation, skyrocketing prices, and widespread poverty. Public anger towards the mullah regime is growing every day. Since 2018 Iran witnessed five nationwide uprisings which the biggest was the November 2019 uprising, which was suppressed in the bloodiest way. More than 1500 young protesters were gunned down in the street by the suppressive forces.

During the past few days, the MEK’s network inside Iran, known as the Resistance Units, has organized a widespread campaign across the country that called for an all-out boycott of the regime’s presidential election sham.

In Tehran and Isfahan, the members of the Resistance Units installed huge banners of Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).

The slogans that were written on their banners are: “The election boycott is a response to the killing of 1500 martyrs in November 2019” and “The Iranian people’s nationwide boycott is yet another response to the murderers of 1500 blood-drenched martyrs of November 2019.”

(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): In Rasht, Kermanshah, and Bushehr, the Resistance Units organized an anti-regime campaign. They called for regime change and pledged to turn the new Persian year into the year of establishing freedom, democracy, and equality in Iran.

(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): An all-out boycott of the regime’s presidential election sham.
The members of the Resistance Units installed handwritten slogans in the center of the cities, despite the atmosphere of repression and presence of many security forces.
The slogans written on these banners were: “Our vote is overthrowing the mullahs and boycott the election sham,”
Bushehr
(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran):
“The mullahs will be overthrown this year,”
“No to the election of the mullahs, no to mullahs’ rule, yes to freedom” and
“The regime’s presidential election sham does not bear any vestige of legitimacy in the eyes of the Iranian people.”

MEK Resistance Units continued to celebrate Nowruz and determine their resolve to turn the Iranian new year into momentum for more anti-regime protests.
