MEK Iran: Javad Zarif Should be at the Trial of Assadollah Assadi

The (NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran) said “the developments like the Assadi terror trial reveal that Zarif is in a position to play a very substantial role in the perpetration of other such acts on foreign soil,”
The Iranian Foreign Minister, Javad Zarif, should be standing in the dock with Assadollah Asadi and his three accomplices in Antwerp Belgium. Whatever happens to the supposed Iranian diplomat, based in Vienna, the Belgian / Iranian couple and poet of the same nationality, should learn lessons from the trial and hopefully, it will be a wake-up call to what the Iranian regime is capable of.
This trial is welcome news to the Iranian Resistance #NCR and #MEK because it is the first time an #Iran diplomat is facing trial for terrorist activity, but it is certainly not the first time an Iranian diplomat has been involved with such activities.https://t.co/goOum4YNBe pic.twitter.com/vX6DAknxxF

The four defendants will no doubt be sentenced to prison in Belgium, but as far as the Iranian opposition, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) is concerned, the real culprits will get off scot-free. This is because the bomb plot that Assadi was the main controller of, depended on Europe turning a blind eye for the umpteenth time. This time, they couldn’t, as the terror attempt would have taken place right outside the Elysee.
European authorities must make up their mind just how they fit in and respond vis a vis the Iranian regime. Appeasement just does not work.

The trial can be considered a legal affirmation of the Iranian regime’s terrorist nature and it is a pivotal moment for the Iranian Resistance #NCR and (#PMOI /#MEK #Iran), which has been warning the international community of exactly this for many years.https://t.co/goOum4YNBe pic.twitter.com/aea4w3nxtm

There were many tens of thousands of attendees at the June 2018 Free Iran rally in Villepinte near Paris. Many of them could have been killed or injured if a bomb of the magnitude planned had gone off in the restaurant.
Assadi may have been the main person of interest in this bomb plot, but the Iranian Foreign Minister must have known about the plot all along and made it easier for Assadi to bring the explosive for the bomb back in his luggage.
“Zarif’s responsibilities have expanded greatly over more than three decades, but his role has remained much the same. As awareness about Iranian terrorism grows in the wake of the Belgian court case, the regime’s Foreign Minister will surely take the lead in denying, downplaying, and justifying his own diplomat’s crimes,” said the (NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran) at the time.
“Before December is over, the international community will have to push his protests aside in order to hold the four aspiring terrorists accountable. Zarif himself should also be held to account not just for the 2018 plot but also for his general complicity with decades of Iranian terrorism,” the Iranian opposition added.
The target of the bomb was #MaryamRajavi. After the first of the #Iran uprisings, in 2017 and into 2018, the regime was threatened by the growing following of #NCRI and #MEK and wanted to assert their power and attempt to destroy the resistance movement. #WeStand4FreeIran pic.twitter.com/cn4D8b6Fj1
