Demonstrations by Supporters of the Iranian Resistance, NCRI and (PMOI / MEK Iran), Commemorating the November 2019 Uprising in Canada and Sweden
Iranian supporters of the National Council of Resistance of Iran’s (NCRI) and the People’s Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran) held demonstrations in Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, in Canada, and Malmö in Sweden.
The demonstration was to commemorate the November 2019 uprising and its martyrs. During the demonstration, MEK supporters chanted slogans against the mullahs’ regime and declared their support for the MEK Resistance Units, an internal network called the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran).

Many Iranians have strong feelings of pride and compassion towards those who were brutally gunned down by the Basij forces.

On the week of the anniversary of the November 2019 uprisings, supporters of the main opposition Mujahedin-e Khalq (PMOI / MEK Iran) and MEK Resistance Units have been putting up posters and banners and writing graffiti echoing the Iranian people’s demand for the overthrow of the inhumane clerical regime and expressing support for Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).
