This calculated brutality underscores the government’s determination to cling to power by any means necessary. The Judiciary has recently authorized the execution of 25 prisoners in Shahrivar (August 23-September 22), with the number tragically soaring to 81 during Mehr (September 23-October 22), and reaching a harrowing 106 by Aban (October 23-November 21).
These executions extend beyond a rigid adherence to Islamic Sharia, as claimed by officials. Instead, they are strategically deployed to quell dissent, intimidate the populace, and thwart any progressive strides toward change. This tactic of fear is compounded by increasing social pressures to stifle the impoverished and protesting sectors of society.
Further tightening its grip, the regime’s parliament sanctioned a new surveillance program on November 7. This initiative, ostensibly aimed at continuously monitoring cultural indices and media credibility, is a thinly veiled attempt to identify and suppress opposition.
Concurrently, the disqualification of numerous parliamentary candidates by the Ministry of Interior, along with the barring of several sitting members critical of the Raisi administration, reveals an alarming trend of political manipulation.
Iran’s regime not only poses a domestic threat but also casts a shadow of fear across the region and globally. Its support for paramilitary groups in the Middle East and persistent advancement of nuclear and missile programs continue to raise international alarm.
In the wake of the @UN adoption of its 70th resolution, condemning human rights violations in #Iran, the time has come for the international community to adopt a decisive policy, rejecting the clerical regime and referring its catastrophic record of rights abuses to the UNSC. Despite the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi’s warnings about Iran’s non-compliance with nuclear agreements, Tehran remains unresponsive. Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s recent visit to a missile site, where he boasted of possessing hypersonic weapons, only exacerbates global concerns.
The international community has condemned Iran for systematic human rights violations, but tangible action remains elusive. Khamenei’s regime, notorious for human rights abuses and supporting global terrorism, requires more than verbal denouncements.
The regime’s nuclear dossier must be referred to the UN Security Council as soon as possible, and the six UNSC resolutions should be reinstated by the trigger mechanism, which should have been done a long time ago#Iran#JCPOA pic.twitter.com/9SK0sAe9LD

The plight of the Iranian people and the quest for global peace demand a robust and supportive approach to end this tyranny and restore human rights. The path ahead is arduous, but necessary, to confront these regional conflicts and champion human rights effectively.
