Mrs. Attias, took a firm stand against the oppressive Iranian regime, stating, “How have these decadent mullahs not yet understood that by killing their people.

At the Free Iran World Summit 2023, Mrs. Dominique Attias, Chair of the Board of Directors at the European Lawyers Foundation, extended her commendation to the Iranian Resistance, highlighting their four-decade-long commitment to liberty despite numerous challenges.

Mrs. Attias remarked on the National Council of Resistance of Iran’s (NCRI) persistence and drive, asking, “Women and men of the National Council of Resistance of Iran [how do you manage] to wake up every morning even stronger and more determined?” She expressed awe at their ability to push through adversity and to remain continuously connected to their isolated and threatened countrymen.

They will be held accountable by international tribunals for their crimes against humanity. We will make sure of it; we all commit to that here. Attias also lambasted the political dealings with the Iranian regime, decrying the compromises made at the expense of justice. “We do not negotiate with terrorist blackmailers,” she declared, emphasizing that one cannot compromise their integrity without eventual consequences.

The Iranian Resistance, according to Attias, bears the beacon of hope and the promise of a better future. She praised Maryam Rajavi, lauding her as an embodiment of modernity who has tirelessly championed freedom for Iranian women. “These women have a keen sense of justice and the social inequity between genders,” Mrs. Attias said, drawing attention to the importance of gender equality, freedom of choice, and independence in one’s life. She also praised the Resistance for recognizing the strength of women, citing them as a pivotal force in the movement.

Furthermore, Mrs. Attias expressed her astonishment at the limited support from global governments, even when the Iranian Resistance offers solutions that guarantee regional and worldwide peace. She highlighted the sacrifices made by countless Iranians in their quest for a democratic Iran, referencing the tragic incidents at Ashraf III in Albania and the challenges faced in Paris.

Condemning Ebrahim Raisi, the current Iranian leader, for his role in the 1988 massacre of 30,000 Iranians, Mrs. Attias said, "Shame on those who do not come to the support of the Iranian people. Shame on their feebleness and complacency."

In conclusion, she stressed the growing support for the Iranian Resistance movement from parliamentarians, politicians, and men and women globally. Mrs. Attias sees the 21st century as an era defined by women, marking it as “the century of Madame Rajavi, the century of light.”

In a stirring tribute, she ended her speech saying, “Long live Iranian women, long live the NCRI, the PMOI, and everyone alongside Madame Maryam Rajavi.”
