Regime operatives in Iran launched new chemical gas attacks on Tuesday in at least four areas, targeting innocent schoolgirls.

The attacks coincide with the 230th day of Iran’s nationwide uprising, during which regime officials have escalated the number of executions. Over a four-day period, twelve Baluch compatriots, including two women, were hanged. To date, protests have expanded to at least 282 cities, resulting in over 750 deaths and more than 30,000 arrests, according to Iranian opposition sources.

Iranian opposition President-elect Maryam Rajavi of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), has called on the United Nations and Member States to take action to save the lives of prisoners sentenced to death in Iran. She emphasized the need for the regime’s crimes to be referred to the UN Security Council and for its leaders to be held accountable for four decades of crimes against humanity and genocide.

Regime authorities executed two inmates early Wednesday morning in Minab Centarl Prison in Hormozgan Province, southern Iran. One of the victims was a 43-year-old Baluch citizen, married with two young children. At least eight inmates were executed on this day alone.

The chemical gas attacks on schoolgirls continued on Wednesday, with reports from Sanandaj, the provincial capital of Kurdistan, indicating that the all-girls Parvin Etesami Elementary School had been targeted. Similar attacks were reported in Marivan, northwest Iran, and the city of Yazd, central Iran.

Pensioners and retirees, who are among the worst-hit segments of Iranian society, have held rallies and marches in several cities, protesting high prices, poverty, corruption, inflation, poor living conditions, and officials’ refusal to address their demands. Despite the government’s hollow promises to increase pensions, they have not been adjusted to match growing inflation and the depreciation of the national currency.

Residents in several cities have protested the regime’s policies, such as confiscating lands, not paying insurance pensions, and the lack of doctors and physicians. Disabled locals in Tehran demanded their rights be recognized and respected, while teachers and educators in the city held a rally outside the provincial Education Department demanding their rights be acknowledged. As regime operatives continue their chemical gas attacks, targeting schoolgirls in various cities, protesters have been calling for an end to these atrocities.

Retirees and pensioners of the regime’s telecom industry in several cities and provinces have also rallied to protest their low pensions and poor economic conditions. With protests expanding and executions on the rise, international pressure mounts for the Iranian regime to address its human rights violations and crimes against humanity.
