Protests in Iran continue to rock the nation as citizens voice their utter hatred of the mullahs' dictatorship and the oppressive apparatus. The protests have spread to at least 282 cities, and sources from the Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI/MEK) state that over 750 people have been killed and more than 30,000 arrested by the regime's forces.

Protests in Iran continue to rock the nation as citizens voice their utter hatred of the mullahs’ dictatorship and the oppressive apparatus. The protests have spread to at least 282 cities, and sources from the Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI/MEK) state that over 750 people have been killed and more than 30,000 arrested by the regime’s forces.

 

On Tuesday night, citizens of Dehloran, Ilam Province, western Iran, sought to start anti-regime protests and demolish an IRGC paramilitary Basij statue at one of the city’s main squares, according to local activists. Members of the regime’s security forces responded by opening fire, and protesters returned fire, resulting in two members of the regime’s security forces and two protesters being injured.

Despite the extremely cold winter conditions, locals in Tehran’s Narmak district began chanting anti-regime slogans on Tuesday night. Members of MEK Resistance Units projected a large image of Iranian Resistance Leader Massoud Rajavi and opposition coalition NCRI President-elect Maryam Rajavi at 9:30 pm local time on Monday night in the capital’s Tehranpars district.

 

 

In Tehran, defrauded investors of the Ramak Khodro auto company held a rally demanding their stolen investments returned. In the city of Qom, parents of students in at least 12 all-girls schools are protesting their children falling ill one after another, with allegations of intended food poisoning.

Retirees and pensioners in the cities of Qazvin, Hamadan, and Karaj, northwest Iran, were protesting low pensions, and poor insurance plans, and seeking adjustments based on skyrocketing prices and increasing inflation. Contract workers involved with the city municipality in Tabriz, northwest Iran, are protesting recent plans by regime officials that will make it difficult for them to make ends meet.

 

 

Workers of a copper mine in Sirjan, Fars Province, south-central Iran, have been on strike for a fifth consecutive day, gathering outside the local governor’s office.

Retirees and pensioners across the country have also been holding rallies to protest low pensions, poor insurance plans, and the skyrocketing inflation rate. On Monday, workers of the Bardsir Mashiz steel factory in Kerman and part-time workers and employees of the regime’s state oil company in Tehran protested, demanding their delayed bonuses.

Parents of students in at least 12 all-girls schools in Qom are protesting their children falling ill one after another, with allegations of intentional food poisoning. And disabled citizens in Tehran are demanding pensions that have been owed to them for months, some for years.

 

 

Protests across Iran are continuing, and the regime’s response has been met with criticism from human rights organizations across the world. The people of Iran are making their voices heard, and it is clear that their demand for change is not going away any time soon.
