
Protests Erupt in Cities Across Iran Against Killings in Kurdistan on 67th Night of Uprising

On Monday night, the 67th night of the uprising, Tehran and other cities witnessed nightly demonstrations in protest against the killings of Kurdish people.
In Tehran, people in different areas, including Chitgar, Darvazeh Dowlat, Kuhsar Shahran, Ferdowsi Blvd, Sadeghieh, Tehransar, Afsarieh, Coca-Cola Intersection, Kiansar, Geisha and Shahr-e Ray staged demonstrations chanting, “Death to the child-killing dictator,” and “Death to the IRGC.” They also set up roadblocks in some areas by lighting fires. In Kianshahr, suppressive forces, using tear gas and pellet guns, attacked youths who had blocked roads. In Afsarieh, youths engaged in hit-and-run clashes with the suppressive forces.
In addition to Tehran, people in many cities such as Kermanshah, Mashhad, Ahvaz, Hamedan, Qazvin, Piranshahr, Saqqez, Sanandaj, Sisakht, Mahabad, Ravansar, Dehgolan, Shahriar, Bonab, Qom, Salas Babajani, Islamshahr, Tonkabon, Takab, Dezful, Sari, Rasht, Gorgan, Mahalat, Bandar Langeh, Haft Juy in Karaj, Golshahr and Gohardasht in Karaj staged protests and chanted, “Death to Khamenei” and lit fires.

In West Azarbaijan province, youths in Piranshahr blocked the Tamerchin road with rocks, and in Takab, they staged a nightly demonstration by lighting fires and sound bombs. In Mahabad, people in different areas staged demonstrations and lit fires while chanting, “I will kill whoever killed my brother.”
In Bushehr, rebellious youths set fire to the statue of Qassem Soleimani, the defunct Commander of Quds Force. The state-run website Entekhab wrote on November 20, “500 rioters have been arrested in Bushehr province; 60 to 70 of them have been arrested as dangerous agents.”

In Khorasan Razavi province, youths in Mashhad attacked a Basij base with Molotov cocktails and held a nightly demonstration on Monday evening. In Gilan province, the people of Rasht staged a nightly demonstration and clashed with the regime’s agents in Falakeh Gaz.
Quds Force-affiliated news agency Tasnim reported on November 20 that another protester arrested during the uprising had been sentenced to death in Tehran and wrote: “This person was sentenced to death on the charges of moharebeh (enemy of God) … causing insecurity in the area and disrupting the order and security of the society. It should be noted that five more people have been sentenced to death by the Tehran Revolutionary Court in the past few days.”
