27 death sentences were carried out in October 2021
At least 27 death sentences were carried out in various Iranian prisons in October 2021. Twelve victims were convicted of drug offenses, while another 13 were charged with murder, one of whom was a woman.
A prisoner was executed by the authorities in Shiraz on November 2. The detainee was identified as Mohammad Raisi, a 23-year-old son of Eqbal from the Fanuj County village of Ritek.
The night before his execution, the prisoner called his family to inform them that he had been transported to the prison quarantine. When his family arrived in Shiraz the next day, they were directed to the mortuary to pick up his remains.

Cases like the one mentioned above demonstrate Iran’s terrible human rights situation. The regime is well aware that the people are aware of the regime’s weak status, thus it is forced to use increasingly brutal techniques against them. It seeks to overcome this scenario by regulating the public’s growing rage as a result of hunger, poverty, and other social crises, which it sees as preventative measures.
