MEK Iran: Coronavirus Update
According to the Iranian opposition group The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), 443,200 people had died in Iran as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak as of September 29.
The number of victims across Iran
The number of victims in Tehran has reached 103,906, Khorasan Razavi 36,345, Isfahan 29,580, Khuzestan 27,165, Fars 15,899, West Azerbaijan 15,868, Gilan 15,515, Lorestan 14,865, Alborz 12,968, Hamedan 8,333, Central Province 8,108, Hormozgan 7,540, Kermanshah 7,934, Kurdistan 6,992, Ardabil 5,575, Bushehr 5,019, Qazvin 4,914, Zanjan 4,290, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 3,204.
In Ardabil, the Coronavirus situation is fragile. Hospitals are on a 24-hour alert, and 51 patients are on the verge of death. (Mehr news agency, September 29, 2021)

Member of the regime’s Parliamentary Health Commission: The cause of death for black fungus patients is not publicized so that the doctors and the hospital will not face problems. (ILNA news agency, September 29, 2021)
Mullahs Health Minister
“The Health Minister says that Pfizer vaccines are not for ordinary people. Ordinary people (must) use ‘Sinopharm’ and ‘Barakat’ (domestic) vaccines.” (State-run daily, Arman, September 29, 2021)
According to the Health Ministry, the regime’s Health Minister said that 70% of the population would be vaccinated in the next two weeks, but only 18% have received two doses of the vaccine so far. (State-run daily, Jomhuri, September 29, 2021)
Isfahan University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “During the past 24 hours 307 patients in Isfahan province have been hospitalized. A total of 2027 patients are hospitalized, of which 333 are in ICUs. During the past 24 hours, 33 people have lost their lives to Covid-19,”
Yazd University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “During the past 24 hours more than 90 coronavirus patients have been hospitalized. A total of 389 patients are hospitalized, of which 85 are in ICUs,”. (ISNA news agency, September 29, 2021)
Qazvin University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “The coronavirus death toll in Qazvin province increased by 17 percent in comparison to yesterday, and the number of those hospitalized increased by nine percent. Furthermore, 40 dire patients under ventilators are in ICU branches of our hospitals,”. (Tasnim news agency, September 29, 2021)
Lorestan University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “In recent days, five patients with black fungus were identified, all of whom died,”. (Tasnim news agency, September 29, 2021)
Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “During the past 24 hours 531 patients have received Remdesivir injections and temporarily hospitalized, and 202 have been permanently hospitalized. A total of 1140 coronavirus patients are currently hospitalized, of which 215 are in ICUs,”. (IRIB news agency, September 29, 2021)
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran’s (NCRI): From the beginning, the Iranian resistance had stated that Khamenei is pursuing the policy of mass casualties in a bid to confront the uprisings that would lead to the regime’s downfall. Khamenei’s criminal order to ban the purchase of vaccines was issued in that context.
