The number of victims in Tehran has reached 91,346, Khorasan Razavi 27,985, Isfahan 25,680, Khuzestan 23,956, Mazandaran 15,120, East Azerbaijan 14,068, Fars 13,792, Lorestan 13,690, West Azerbaijan 13,648, Gilan 13,285, Sistan and Baluchestan 11,615, Alborz 11,343, Qom 10,945, Kerman 10,078, Golestan 9,310, Kermanshah 6,848, Hormozgan 6,740, Yazd 6,728, Kurdistan 6,147, Semnan 5,745, Ardabil 4,825, Bushehr 4,469, Ilam 3,848, and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 3,070.

Mashhad University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “The status is not good at all. Considering the fact that the upcoming two weeks remain unpredictable, conditions will most definitely remain critical. If general vaccination is not realized we will be facing another wave,”. Qom University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “During the past 24 hours 21 patients have lost their lives to coronavirus. We currently have 966 patients hospitalized, of which 236 are in dire conditions,” state TV reported.
Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “The COVID-19 hospitalizations record of is broken every day. There are 1,411 patients admitted, of which 209 are in the ICU,”. (Fars news agency, August 27, 2021)
Dezful University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “Each day there 450 to 500 tests conducted in the city of Dezful, of which 55 to 60 percent are positive. The number of new cases, people being hospitalized, and the death count are all rising extremely fast. Conditions are catastrophic. If this trend of new cases continues at this rate and vaccination continues at the current slow rate, conditions will resume deterioration with each passing day,” (ISNA, August 27, 2021)

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), “The countless number of people killed by the coronavirus in Iran, leaving thousands of our compatriots grieving every day, are heart-wrenching for any freedom-loving and conscientious human being.”
Khamenei fears the eruption of more uprisings. To close ranks against popular protests, he opened the path for spreading the coronavirus in Iran and installed Ebrahim Raisi, the henchman of the 1988Massacre, as president.
