MEK: Oil Tanker Attacked By Iran
The People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), an oil tanker operated by Zodiac Maritime collapsed on Friday. The attack claimed the lives of two crew members: one British and one Romanian.
The strike was carried out by Iran
The politicians blamed Iran after the incident. Later, the UK and the US claimed that the strike was carried out by Iran’s authorities.
Following the incident, Israel’s, Britain’s, and US foreign ministers assembled. Furthermore, reports in the media suggested that Iran could be targeted.
The UK and the US claimed that the strike was carried out by Iran
“We are in very close contact, in coordination with the United Kingdom, Israel, Romania, and other countries,” US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated. And there will be a coordinated response,” he told reporters on Monday at the US State Department.
On Monday, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Iran must face the repercussions of the oil ship attack off the coast of Oman.
“Iran should accept the consequences of their actions. According to the Reuters news agency, the British Prime Minister told reporters, “This was clearly an unacceptable and outrageous attack on commercial shipping.”
Iran’s regime is no stranger to hostile behavior
Iran’s regime is no stranger to hostile behavior. It pursues such actions without considering the implications to demonstrate that it is not in a weak position, especially when the nuclear negotiations appear to be failing and the regime must confront the consequences of its nuclear adventures.
Taking the lead and warning other countries about the implications of any “adventures” against Iran is a clear indicator of such impulsive judgments and weakness. On August 3, the state-run daily Tose-e-Irani published an article in which it stated:
“Right now, Iran is under pressure from these four countries, with threats of retaliation thrown in for good measure. However, Iran’s response has been a denial thus far. Said Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh yesterday.
The Middle East’s instability
“It is unfortunate that while these countries have remained silent in support of terrorist attacks and sabotage of Iranian merchant ships in the Red Sea and international waters, they are making false accusations against the Islamic Republic of Iran in a blatant political bias,” he added.
Aside from the regime’s fear of retaliation, it’s apparent that no one would reveal their resources to such tyranny, and no one but this regime benefits from the Middle East’s instability.
The initiation of the regime’s new presidency, Ebrahim Raisi
The state-run daily Eghtesad News wrote on August 3, in an implied confession of the regime’s actions:
“With Iran’s denial, the Zionist regime and the United States are still attempting to profit from this incident. In a scenario where less than a month has gone by since the sabotage of one of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization’s buildings near Karaj on June 23.
A few days before the initiation of the regime’s new presidency, Ebrahim Raisi confronted the world and further destabilized the situation in the Middle East, delivering the message that the regime’s terror apparatus will not stop and will become even worse.
