The protesters chanted, “Tanks, Guns, Khamenei must die,” “The leader (Khamenei) is a shame for us,” “Death to the Supreme Leader for all these years crimes,” “Death to the dictator” and “Neither Gaza nor Lebanon, I give my life for Iran.”
Youths took to the streets and chanted “Death to the dictator,”
In the early hours of Saturday, July 31, after a football match, when Narmak (northeast Tehran) youths took to the streets and chanted “Death to the dictator,” they were attacked by the State Security Force (SSF), and many demonstrators were arrested.
The rebellious youths set fire on the street
In Tehranpars (northeast Tehran), the rebellious youths set fire on the street (to block access by the SSF). They protested against the regime, chanting, “Death to the principle of Velayat-e-Faqih (absolute clerical rule).”
The SSF closed Tehran’s Sadeghi Square (one of the hotbeds of protests in Tehran) in fear of widespread protests.
Protest in the city of Baharestan
MEK supporters from the city of Baharestan reported that at the same time, defiant youths in Baharestan (Tehran Province) staged demonstrations on Friday evening, which lasted until the early hours of Saturday morning.
Protest in the city of Ahvaz
MEK supporters from the city of Ahvaz reported that the defiant youths rallied using the slogan, “This is our last word; our target is the entire regime.” Also, in Shooshtar, the rebellious youths blocked the road and staged a demonstration against the regime.
Maryam Rajavi message
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), hailed the brave youth who rose up in Tehran, Ahvaz, and other cities of Iran and chanted, “Death to the dictator and death to the principle of Velayat-e Faqih.”
She reiterated: The uprising, which started with the cry of the people of Khuzestan demanding water and freedom, will not stop and will continue in the four corners of the country through uprisings.
By cutting off the Internet, Khamenei seeks to prevent the people’s cry from reaching the world. But the clerical regime has no way out from its inevitable overthrow.
