The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), reported that the people living in different cities and regions of Khuzestan demonstrated against shortages of water.
Protest against the lack of water
Iranian resistance reported that from Thursday evening, people living in different cities and regions of Khuzestan, including Ahvaz, Khorramshahr, Bostan, Hamidiyeh, Shadegan, Susangard, and Mahshahr, took to the streets to protest the lack of water.
Police opened fire to prevent protests from spreading
In some cities, such as Khorramshahr and Susangard, police opened fire to prevent protests from spreading.

People in the Bostan town of Azadegan, west of Ahvaz, chanted against the mullahs’ regime to protest the lack of water and cut off water and transfer it to other cities.
People marched through the city streets
In Hamidiyeh, people marched through the city streets, chanting slogans and protesting against regime agents and the continuous water cut, despite the presence of hundreds of police mercenaries.
Repressive forces could not stop the protest
The police and repressive forces intended to prevent the spread of protests to other parts of the city. Repressive forces could not stop the protest and failed to prevent people from joining demonstrations.
Protesting people closed the roads in Khakzegan
Meanwhile, the protesting people closed the roads in Khakzegan, Ahvaz Canaan Fortress, Mahshahr Road to the port called Imam, and in Shadegan by setting fire to tires.
