The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran) reported that the members of the European Parliament on the verge of the Free Iran World Summit, supporting the uprising of the Iranian people and condemn human rights violations, and terrorism, by the clerical regime in Iran.

Ladies and gentlemen, dear colleagues, dear friends,

First of all, thank you very much for inviting me to attend the Free Iran Summit. I’m glad I can give you my message today.

Because of my personal experience in Poland, I have always felt great sympathy for the Iranian people, who have suffered so much for decades under the rule of the mullahs.

In the European Parliament, the issue of Iran and the protection of human rights, and the protection of the democratic opposition of Iran, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, is an issue on which many of us from all political groups are united. We are also united on the issue of a free Iran, despite political differences over our own issues.

I am proud to say that I was one of the first members of the European Parliament from Poland to join the Free Iran Friends Group in the European Parliament.

 

 

During my tenure as Vice-President of the European Parliament, I tried my best to resist Iran.

My colleagues and I fought together for several years to save the lives of the Ashrafis. I recall a meeting at the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee where Martin Kobler, a German diplomat who represented the United Nations in Iraq at the time, spoke out against the MEK, which we challenged and taught him a good lesson. He cannot deal with the mullahs and destroy their opposition in order to promote themselves. This is still a lesson for anyone trying to do this today. No need to try to scare us! We know very well why we support the Iranian opposition and Ms. Rajavi!

Today, the Iranian opposition, led by Ms. Rajavi, enjoys a much stronger position inside and outside Iran.

The strong message of the Iranian people to boycott the elections was heard all over the world. In Iran, there is no popular vote. Everything is decided by the Supreme Leader. This is exactly what the people and the Iranian resistance are.

Dear Ms. Rajavi, dear friends in Ashraf 3 and especially in Iran, all of you who are watching this year’s gathering.

In full solidarity with the brave people of Iran, I join the Free Iran Summit and will continue to support your call for change to freedom and democracy.

The strong and determined message of the Iranian people to boycott the elections from the weeks before the elections in Iran was heard, in fact, all over the world.

Unfortunately, there is no popular vote in Iran, because everything is filtered and decided by the Supreme Leader, and this is exactly what the Iranian people and the Iranian resistance are trying to change.

 

 

In Mrs. Maryam Rajavi’s ten-point plan for a free Iran, which I fully support, the first plan points to the fact that ballot boxes are the only criterion for legality. Accordingly, the National Council of Resistance of Iran, the democratic opposition of Iran, seeks a republic based on the free suffrage of the people.

‘I also join many of my colleagues in the European Parliament who have signed a statement in support of a democratic and prosperous Iran,’ he said. Audit those responsible for human rights abuses and terrorism. ‘This is a priority for us here in the European Parliament and we will continue to work together as a group.

 

 

But now let me take this opportunity to send a special message to the people of Iran who are visiting us, please always know that from me, you have a friend here, someone who has always supported you, we will support, your resistance movement, and I will continue to support Mrs. Rajavi, as the leader of this movement, until the day Iran, your beautiful country, is liberated, and then my friends, we will meet in Tehran’s Azadi Square.
