MEK Iran: Coronavirus Update

(PMOI / MEK Iran) and (NCRI): announced on June 21, 2021, that the COVID-19 death toll in 547 cities is more than 315,400.

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), reported that the coronavirus death toll in 547 cities surpasses 315,400.

The number of victims across Iran

The number of victims in Tehran has reached 73,946, Isfahan 21,220, Khuzestan 19,896, Khorasan Razavi 19,175, East Azerbaijan 12,893, Lorestan 12,470, Mazandaran 12,435, West Azerbaijan 11,818, Alborz 8,989, Sistan and Baluchistan 7,396, Kerman 7,113, Kermanshah 6,118, and Hormozgan 4,425.

(PMOI / MEK Iran) and (NCRI): COVID-19 fatalities in 541 cities exceed 315,400. Tehran in crisis as long as we don’t have a national system to evaluate mutated viruses, we will always be facing threats and we need to definitely provide measures to have an immediate and timely response,” said a senior health official in Tehran.

The virus is still active

West Azerbaijan University

West Azerbaijan University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “During the past 24 hours 107 new coronavirus patients have been hospitalized and the total count now stands at 609, of which 143 are in ICUs,”. (IRIB news agency, June 21, 2021)
