The number of victims across Iran
The number of victims in Tehran has reached 73,946, Isfahan 21,220, Khuzestan 19,896, Khorasan Razavi 19,175, East Azerbaijan 12,893, Lorestan 12,470, Mazandaran 12,435, West Azerbaijan 11,818, Alborz 8,989, Sistan and Baluchistan 7,396, Kerman 7,113, Kermanshah 6,118, and Hormozgan 4,425.
The virus is still active
26.5% increase in daily COVID-19 patients indicates that the virus is still active, and there is a possibility of a fifth outbreak. (Tasnim news agency, June 21, 2021)
Jiroft University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “All oxygen ventilators in the south of Kerman Province are being used for COVID-19 patients, pointing to a new outbreak”. (Mehr news agency, June 21, 2021)
Bushehr University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “We had 418 positive COVID-19 tests in one day, which shows an explosive increase”. (Tasnim, June 21, 2021)

Arak University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “The fifth peak that will, unfortunately, engulf us we will be dealing with the Delta variant (which is extremely dangerous and even those who had contracted the virus before and been vaccinated are not fully immune). West Azerbaijan University
West Azerbaijan University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “During the past 24 hours 107 new coronavirus patients have been hospitalized and the total count now stands at 609, of which 143 are in ICUs,”. (IRIB news agency, June 21, 2021)
Maryam Rajavi message
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI): With the strategy of mass casualties, Khamenei intends to erect a barrier against the looming popular uprising, Mrs. Rajavi said. Otherwise, he could have limited the dimensions of the catastrophe by allocating part of the one trillion dollars stolen from the Iranian people, which are is in possession of the foundations under his control and the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).
