(PMOI / MEK Iran) and (NCRI): announced on Saturday, June 19, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 547 cities across Iran had exceeded 314,400.

 

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), reported that the coronavirus death toll in 547 cities surpasses 314,400.

The number of victims across Iran

The number of victims in Tehran has reached 73,696, Isfahan 21,140, Khuzestan 19,811, Khorasan Razavi 19,115, East Azerbaijan 12,868, Mazandaran 12,410, West Azerbaijan 11,798, Gilan 10,486, Alborz 8,963, Kerman 7,068, Hamedan 6,833, Central Province 6,498, Kurdistan 5,367, Semnan 5,285, Yazd 5,237, Hormozgan 4,360, and Ardabil 3,885.

Last week the average number of COVID-19 infections per day was 9,616, while the previous week, the average was 8,287. (State-run daily, Arman, June 19, 2021)

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI): With the strategy of mass casualties, Khamenei intends to erect a barrier against the looming popular uprising, Mrs. Rajavi said. Otherwise, he could have limited the dimensions of the catastrophe by allocating part of the one trillion dollars stolen from the Iranian people, which are is in possession of the foundations under his control and the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).

 

Maryam Rajavi is putting her utmost pressure on the branches of the United Nations including the Security Council, the Secretary-General, the Human Rights Council, and the High Commissioner for Human Rights to denounce the regime’s dishonesty in admitting the catastrophic effect the coronavirus is having on the Iranian people.
