(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): Iran’s economy cripples people.

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), reported that the accepted business leaders and rent-seeking importers in Iran’s famous Chamber of Commerce invited the regime’s most criticized presidential candidate Ebrahim Raisi to ensure their business and gain more advantages from this candidate supported by the regime’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei if he becomes president.

Mullahs economic difficulties

Raisi accepted the invitation as previous presidents had done and made promises that, of course, did not satisfy anyone and just added to the country’s economic difficulties.

Because of its corrupted, plundering, and rent-seeking economic relationships, Iran’s government does not allow the formation of any healthy economic relationships, so organizations like the Chamber of Commerce are infected with brokers and corruption, as one of its associates once emphasized the importance of cleaning up the organization’s corrupted atmosphere and noted:

(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): Iranian Regime’s Attempts to Fix Economy will Only Make it Worse.

The lack of real capacity of the chamber

“In recent years, the private sector has been weakened by government decisions and the lack of real capacity of the chamber. Chambers play a key role in the country’s economy, but now brokers are trying to enter the chamber’s space, and this is not at all suitable for the chamber’s space and the sanctioned conditions of the country, because a broker never acts like a businessman, but only thinks of lobbying and making a profit for himself.” Reported the Eghtesad Online, on 11 February 2019.

Iranian regime economy

(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): Tehran’s hold on power is as weak as its economic propaganda.

The country’s economic crises

Representatives of the Chamber addressed Raisi with a long list of the country’s economic crises, such as the country’s zero percent growth in the economy, rampant prices, and the society’s catastrophic welfare situation, and awaited his response, but, just like other officials, especially the supreme leader, he simply gave ambiguous answers.

“Capacity and resources are available for the country’s growth and development. However, efficient and jihadist management is the missing link, and good management is the backbone of a thriving economy.” Othagh-e-Bazargani reported on 28 May.

Iran’s regime fake government report

(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): The report of earnings and costs of urban and rural families in 2017-2018 and its statistics are so glaringly false that even the state-run media has had difficulty presenting.

The rapid rate of inflation

“The literature used by Ibrahim Raisi in the private sector shows that he is unfamiliar with the macroeconomic and political economy literature, or that he did not want to focus on macroeconomic indicators such as the budget deficit as the mother of all economic ruin, the rapid rate of inflation that reduces the purchasing power of the citizens more and more, from the shrinking volume of foreign trade, which reduces Iran’s power in regional political bargaining, and other indicators such as the growth of liquidity and the growth of the monetary base. Of course, a person who has worked in the judiciary all his life is not expected to do more, but unfamiliarity can also be troublesome.” Wrote the Jahan-e-Sanat daily, regarding Raisi’s Response, on 27 May.

FATF Deadline

(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): The regime’s economic situation is terrible – worse than it has ever been and it faces the International deadline.

Corruption throughout this regime

“Problems must be identified and solved with the help of the people,” Raisi remarked, regardless of the fact that corruption throughout this government is at an all-time high and the country’s economic problems are enormous.

According to Iran’s Dideban-e-Iran on 27 May, some loyal to Khamenei’s faction, such as Vahid Ashtari, a former member of the Student Justice Movement’s Central Council opposed Raisi’s attendance at the meeting.

Infighting within Iran parliament

(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): Infighting among regime parliamentarians a reflection of the insolvable internal crisis within the regime.

Continuation of the dire socio-economic crisis

“Holding the first election rally symbolizes the candidate’s priorities for the country,” he stated. What is the message of picking the Chamber of Commerce as a trade union institution and meeting respected importers in one of the country’s most important rent-seeking and conflict-of-interest bottlenecks? ”

This meeting reflects the future of Iran under the disastrous rule of the nearly ensured president Raisi. A continuation of the dire socio-economic crisis of the country and impoverished citizens.

Uprising and coronavirus in Iran

(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): The economic pressure on people turn to protests on the streets Iranian regime is afraid of uprising amid coronavirus crisis.
