The number of victims across Iran

The number of victims in Tehran has reached 68,276, Isfahan 19,455, Khuzestan 18,189, Khorasan Razavi 17,910, East Azerbaijan 11,998, Lorestan 11,885, Mazandaran 11,880, West Azerbaijan 10,953, Gilan 9,946, Fars 9,597, Qom 9,525, Alborz 8,118, Golestan 7,140, Kerman 6,573, Hamedan 6,548, Kermanshah 5,794, Semnan 5,075, Kurdistan 5,037, Yazd 4,982, Hormozgan 3,450, Zanjan 3,220, and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 2,400.

Shiraz University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “1637 coronavirus patients are hospitalized and 256 are in ICUs. During the past 24 hours we have lost 15 patients to Covid-19,” (IRNA news agency, May 19, 2021)

Isfahan University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: The number of COVID-19 patients admitted in the Province hospitals is still more than the number of patients who are discharged. (Mehr news agency, May 19, 2021)

Yazd University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: 330 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in the Province. Ninety of whom are in ICU due to their deteriorating condition. (State TV and Radio news agency, May 19, 2021)

Dezful University

Dezful University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: 95% of the ICU beds and 90% of the normal beds are occupied by COVID-19 patients, and the medical staff is tired and the pressure on them continues. (ISNA, May 19, 2021)
