The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), reported that IRGC Brig. Ali Larijani, architect of censorship and suppression, war criminal, and responsible for institutionalizing crime and plunder register for the Iranian Presidency.

Larijani stepped into Iran sham election

On Saturday, May 15, 2021, IRGC Brig. Ali Larijani established censorship and repression on the state radio and television from the beginning of the mullahs’ rule, register for the Iranian Presidency.

Ali Larijani belongs to the faction, aligned with the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. He was born in Iraq in 1957 to a senior Iranian ayatollah but returned to Iran in 1961. He was previously appointed as the head of the board involved in drafting and signing the very unpopular 25-year strategic pact with China by Ali Khamenei.

 

 

Sending children to minefields

In the early 1980s, Ali Larijani officially joined the Revolutionary Guards and served as the IRGC Deputy Chief Commander of IRGC, and Deputy Chief of Staff, and was actively involved in sending children to minefields and in committing war crimes.

 

 

Broadcast forced confessions of imprisoned dissidents

Ali Larijani during Rafsanjani’s presidency was the Minister of Culture and Guidance, and subsequently, in 1994, Khamenei appointed him as the head of the State Radio and Television Organization.

Ali Larijani also used the broadcasting network to broadcast forced confessions of imprisoned dissidents and intimidation of the public. As a chief security officer at the state broadcasting network was Ghafour Darjazi (an IRGC Brig. Gen.) was implicated in the assassination of Abdol-Rahman Qassemlou, the Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran in July 1989 in Vienna.

 

 

Assassination of dissidents

Ghafour Darjazi also was implicated in the assassination of Mohammad Hossein Naghdi, the NCRI’s representative in Italy in March 1993 in Rome. Darjazi followed Larijani to work at the Supreme National Security Council when Larijani became the SNSC’s Secretary.

 

 

As the Secretary for the Supreme National Security Council, Larijani appointed an IRGC Brig. Gen. Mohammad Jafar Sahraroudi as his deputy and later as his chief of staff during his term as Parliament Speaker.

Sahraroudi was the commander of the hit-squad that shot and killed Qassemlou in Vienna in 1989. Sahraroudi was wounded and hospitalized in that operation in Vienna, but quickly flew to Iran by invoking diplomatic immunity to avoid prosecution. On December 12, 1989, Austrian Police issued an international arrest warrant for Sahraroudi for his role in the assassination of Mr. Qassemlou.

 

 

Deceiving the international community

Larijani has long represented Khamenei in the regime’s Supreme Security Council and served as its secretary from 2005 to October 2007, playing an active role in deceiving the international community about the regime’s nuclear weapons program.

 

 

Legalized and institutionalized crimes

Larijani since June 2008, for 12 years as the Speaker of the regime parliament, he provided legalized and institutionalized crimes and looting. IRGC Brig.

 

 

Involvement in serial killing

Ali Larijani was a member of a committee headed by Saeed Emami, the then-Deputy Intelligence Minister, and serial killer, who infamously abducted and murdered numerous dissident intellectuals and writers in Iran in the 1990s.

At the same time, he was a member of the Expediency Council and the Supreme Council for Cultural Revolution, sitting on almost all consequential agencies of the regime.

In a February 2005 interview with the Fars News Agency, he said, “any concession on the nuclear program is treachery.”
