MEK: Protests Continue across Iran
The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), reported that the Iranian society holds demonstrations and protest the regime’s corruption, destructive policies, and oppression.
MEK supporters from the city of Isfahan reported on Monday, May 10, employees of the Sepahan Cement factory held a rally protesting delayed paychecks and a special bonus. The workers are also protesting the company’s security guards constantly threatening to dismiss them.
A worker said after the factory’s opening, the employees’ job bonus and productivity were paid continuously. But since the Ghadir Holding, which belongs to the Revolutionary Guards, took ownership of Sepahan Cement, all the benefits of the employees have been cut off.
MEK supporters from the city of Tehran reported on Monday, May 10, teachers from many cities across Iran held a rally in front of the Majlis for the third consecutive day, protesting the Ministry of Education’s refusal to employ them.
It is worth noting that these about 25,000 teachers have passed the employment test and the ministry of education must provide them with employment but refuses to do so.
MEK supporters also on Monday, May 10, reported that the oil industry workers held a rally in front of the Majlis (parliament) demanding their rights. These workers are demanding higher wages. Oil industry retirees have also announced their intention to join the rally. Workers and employees who could not go to Tehran expressed their support for the May 10 rally in front of the parliament.
At the same time, MEK supporters from the city of Ahvaz reported that a group of oil workers gathered in front of the National Oil Company in the city of Ahvaz.
