MEK Iran: COVID-19 Fatalities in 541 Cities Exceed 275,800
The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), reported that the coronavirus death toll in 541 cities surpasses 275,800.

The number of victims in Tehran has reached 63,471, Isfahan 18,090, Khorasan Razavi 17,150, Khuzestan 16,859, Lorestan 11,453, Mazandaran 11,450, East Azerbaijan 11,283, West Azerbaijan 10,268, Gilan 9,576, Fars 8,567, Alborz 7,283, Sistan and Baluchestan 6,321, Hamedan 6,222, Kerman 6,219, Semnan 4,855, Kurdistan 4,772, Ardabil 3,487, Qazvin 3,209, Hormozgan 3,200, Bushehr 2,869, and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 2,255.
Just 1% of the entire population has been vaccinated
While only less than 1% of the entire population has been vaccinated, Alireza Reisi, the spokesperson for the National Coronavirus Combat Taskforce (NCCT), brazenly said: The private sector can buy American made Moderna COVID-19 vaccines from Germany or the Netherlands, and only importing vaccines produced in the US and the UK are prohibited. Shiraz University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “30 patients with COVID-19 have died in the past 24 hours. There are currently 2,053 COVID-19 patients hospitalized, of whom 321 are in ICU,”. (ISNA news agency, May 3, 2021)
Isfahan University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “ 2,264 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in the Province. There are 390 patients in ICU. In the past 24 hours, 32 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19,”. (Mehr, May 3, 2021)
Azerbaijan University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: 1,285 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 256 are in ICU, and 22 died in the past 24 hours. (Mehr, May 3, 2021)
Ardabil Medical Sciences University spokesperson said: “76 people are in ICUs in hospitals across Ardabil province and are in critical conditions. During the past few weeks, the spread of this virus has reached inside people’s homes, leaving all members of families having contracted the virus,”. (Mehr, May 3, 2021)
Yazd Medical Sciences University spokesperson said: “Today the number of patients hospitalized for coronavirus stands at 528, of which 108 are in dire conditions and placed in ICUs,”. (Mehr, May 3, 2021)

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI): The astounding rise in the coronavirus death toll and the upward trend of the crisis in many provinces in Iran are due to the clerical regime’s inhuman policies.
