The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), reported that the Iranian people from different sectors of society take to the streets to protest some aspect of the mullahs’ regime.

Protest in Aleshtar

On Wednesday, April 28, 2021, the State Security Force (SSF) tried to cut down the walnut trees in the village of Aleshtar (Lorestan Province), which are a source of income for the people of the region. The villagers tried to prevent the State Security Force (SSF) from doing that.

During this attack, many protesters were injured. Thirty of the injured were women who led the protests. Reportedly, some suffered serious injuries and were transferred to the hospital, in Khorramabad for treatment.

 

Protests across Iran

In other parts of the country retirees, municipal workers, temporary-contract workers, supervisors, bus drivers, gold dealers, teachers, water staff, and shareholders staged protests showing their anger over the government’s plundering and profiteering policies.

MEK supporter from Tehran province — on Monday, April 26, reported the retirees and pensioners affiliated with the Homa Aviation company held a rally, protesting officials’ failure to adjust their salaries with the inflation rate.

MEK supporter from Khuzestan province — on Monday, April 27, reported that the Kut-Abdollah Municipality in Ahvaz fired more than 100 striker workers. They had launched a strike protesting officials’ failure to pay their overdue salaries.

MEK supporter from East Azarbaijan province — on Tuesday, April 27, reported that the residents of Gonvo Kendi village gathered and protested a miner company, which pursued to exploit Adineh Zonouz mine in this region.
