The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), reported that the coronavirus death toll in 539 cities surpasses 258,900.
The coronavirus fatalities
The number of victims in Tehran has reached 59,201, Isfahan 16,905, Khorasan Razavi 16,490, Khuzestan 15,634, Mazandaran 10,935, Lorestan 10,908, East Azerbaijan 10,618, West Azerbaijan 9,733, Gilan 9,066, Fars 7,707, Golestan 6,615, Alborz 6,563, Sistan and Baluchestan 5,886, Kerman 5,824, Hamedan 5,813, Central Province 5,368, Kermanshah 5,189, Semnan 4,570, Kurdistan 4,517, Hormozgan 2,970, Qazvin 2,969, Zanjan 2,840, Ilam 2,671, and Bushehr 2,649.
(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): All hospitals are full, and the death toll has increased six-fold compared to the first days of the Persian new year.

The head of the National Coronavirus Combat Taskforce (NCCT) in Tehran Alireza Zali, said: Today, we admitted 1,775 new coronavirus patients in Tehran Province alone, which is too many, more than 250 of whom to ICU. (IRNA news agency, April 20, 2021)
The deputy head of the NCCT in Tehran Nader Tavakoli, said: We have 8,500 coronavirus patients hospitalized in Tehran. Out of 20,000 hospital beds in Tehran, we have allocated almost 10,000 beds to Coronavirus patients. (Arya news agency, April 20, 2021)
The chairman of Tehran City Council said: The fifth coronavirus peak, which will advance in June due to the (presidential) election, will create the worst conditions and will have the highest death tolls. (Entekhab daily, April 20, 2021)

Isfahan University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “2,419 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 368 are in ICU, and 36 patients have died in the past 24 hours.” (IMNA news agency, April 20, 2021)
Shiraz University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “More than 2,600 coronavirus patients are hospitalized in Fars Province. In the past 24 hours, 426 coronavirus patients were hospitalized, and 24 died.” (Mehr news agency, April 20, 2021)
Tabriz University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: “All hospitals are full, and the death toll has increased six-fold compared to the first days of the Persian new year (March 20, 2021).” (Mehr, April 20, 2021)

Ilam Medical Sciences University spokesperson said: “The number of new Covid-19 cases in Ilam province is twice the country’s average. 2582 of every 100,000 people have contracted the virus, while in Ilam this figure stands at 5482,”. (Mehr, April 20, 2021)
Qom Medical Sciences University spokesperson said: “547 coronavirus patients are hospitalized in Qom, of which 102 are in dire conditions. In the past 24 hours 15 Covid-19 patients have lost their lives,”.(Mehr, April 20, 2021)
