(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): Round-up of Iran Protests. This week’s gathering by retirees and pensioners was for the 9th week in a row.

 

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), reported that the protests by all walks of life continue across Iran. Retirees and pensioners of Iran’s Social Security Organization held rallies across the country, demanding their delayed pensions and higher wages as the inflation rate continues to rise.

Retirees and pensioners gathering in Tehran, Karaj, Qazvin, Khorramabad, Ardebil, Ahvaz, Sari, Andimeshk, Rasht, Tabriz, Ilam, Isfahan, Arak, Shahrud, Dezful, Shoushtar, Kermanshah, Yazd, and Kerman.

 

(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): Ardabil.

 

Protesters in their gathering were chanting: “We have heard too many lies, we will no longer vote,” “Until we obtain our rights, we will be here every day,” “integrity, livelihood are our rights,” “Social Security, shame on you,” and “our country sits on treasure, pensioners are suffering.”

 

(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): Arak.

 

Plundered shareholders of Iran’s Stock Market Exchange while protesting in front of the regime’s parliament, they chanted, “We have heard too many lies; we will no longer vote.” which also reflected their hatred toward the regime and its sham presidential elections.

 

(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): Rasht.

 

MEK supporters from the city of Tehran reported the Tehran Stock Exchange’s (TSE) bubble growth finally burst, causing many people to lose their life savings.

MEK supporters from the city of Yazd also reported that there have been protests in Yazd, Central Iran, rallied in front of the Ministry of Education’s office in the province’s capital to demanding their working privileges.

 

(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): Tabriz.

 

MEK supporters from the city of Shiraz reported that the teachers in Shiraz protested the regime’s latest decision to change their pension plan.

MEK supporters from the city of Karaj reported that the teachers in Karaj also protested the regime’s decision to change their pension plan.

MEK supporters from the city of Ahvaz reported that a group of workers from the Ahvaz Water and Wastewater Department gathered in front of the governor’s building, protesting authorities’ failure in answering their demands.

MEK supporters from the city of Khorramshahr reported that employees of Khorramshahr’s ABFA Department protest their demands and salaries had not been paid for the past three months.

 

(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): Ahvaz.

 

These protests show the society’s restiveness and, the Iranian people’s economic hardships are due to the regime’s plundering and corruption, and wrong policies.

The state-run Arman daily wrote: “Destitution in making their ends meet and fear of their future have filled Iranians with anger. The consequences are clear. Thus, we will not last a year,”

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi  the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran’s (NCRI) said in this regard: “The protests by the dignified retirees recurring nationwide with the chants to boycott the sham [presidential] election, reflects the cries of protests by all Iranians to obtain their pillaged rights by the mullahs’ usurper and corrupt regime.”
