MEK Iran: COVID-19 Death Toll in 535 Cities Surpasses 246,400

COVID-19 death toll

(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): On Thursday, April 8, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 535 cities had exceeded 246,400.

 

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), reported that the coronavirus death toll in 535 cities surpasses 246,400.

The coronavirus fatalities

The number of victims in Tehran has reached 56,561, Isfahan 16,085, Khorasan Razavi 15,885, Khuzestan 14,704, Mazandaran 10,510, Lorestan 10,388, East Azerbaijan 9,923, West Azerbaijan 9,253, Qom 8,780, Gilan 8,616, Fars 7,247, Golestan 6,345, Alborz 6,133, Hamedan 5,613, Kerman 5,449, Kermanshah 4,914, Yazd 4,427, Semnan 4,350, Qazvin 2,799, and Hormozgan 2,775.

 

As Coronavirus Death Toll Tops 127,100

(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): COVID-19 death toll in 535 cities surpasses 246,400.

 

Mullah regime’s Health Ministry

The mullahs’ regime Health Ministry put the number of COVID-19 patients in the past 24 hours at 22,586, out of which 4,221 are critically ill, setting a new record in the past 78 days.

The head of the National Coronavirus Combat Taskforce (NCCT) Alireza Zali, said: 48% of last night’s COVID-19 deaths are related to Tehran Province. We have 5,215 COVID-19 patients in Tehran, of which 1,172 are in ICU. (Mehr news agency, April 8, 2021)

The Director of the Scientific Association of Epidemiologists in Iran said: Due to the country’s prevailing conditions, the fifth and sixth, and more Coronavirus outbreaks in the country are inevitable. (Shahrvand daily, April 8, 2021)

Medical universities experts

Tehran University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: Elective surgeries have stopped, and we have devoted the other wards to the COVID-19 patients and are assigning a new ward to COVID-19.

Mashhad University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: The situation of Coronavirus in Khorasan Razavi Province is horrible. Since April 4, the trend of COVID-19 patients has been increasing exponentially and like an elevator rather than gradually. (ISNA news agency, April 8, 2021)

Tabriz Medical Sciences University deputy dean said: “1200 hospital beds have been allocated to coronavirus patients and right now 927 are filled with patients, of which 200 are in ICUs and 65 patients are under ventilators,”.(IRNA news agency, April 8, 2021)

Alborz Medical Sciences University dean said: “Twelve coronavirus patients lost their lives in the past 24 hours and 132 were hospitalized. There are 749 coronavirus patients hospitalized as we speak,”.(Mehr news agency, April 8, 2021)

Kermanshah Medical Sciences University’s Covid-19 Task Force chair said: “The number of patients hospitalized in Vasei Hospital has increased by four-fold. More than 65 percent of the hospital beds are filled with patients and we will reach full capacity in the next three or four days,”. (ISNA news agency, April 8, 2021)

Ardabil Medical Sciences University dean said: “Currently in Ardabil, we are experiencing deadly Covid-19 days. 61 of our locals are in ICUs and in dire conditions,” (Mehr news agency, April 8, 2021)

Maryam rajavi statament

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) said over the past year, young people and Resistance Units kept the flames of resistance alight all across the country despite the pandemic, and despite the fact that the regime adopted the unpopular policy of using the coronavirus as a shield to counter the people’s protests.
