The number of victims in Tehran is 53,061, Isfahan 14,460, Khuzestan 11,830, Mazandaran 9,487, Lorestan 9,338, East Azerbaijan 8,543, West Azerbaijan 8,388, Gilan 8,006, Fars 6,682, Alborz 5,613, Sistan and Baluchestan 5,301, Kerman 4,969, Kermanshah 4,549, Central Province 4,533, Kurdistan 3,877, Semnan 3,565, Ardabil 2,787, and South Khorasan 2,181.
Regime’s officials’ statements
Mullah’s regime’s deputy health minister, said So far, 343 patients infected with the British coronavirus have been identified. He said as a principle, we must accept that this virus has spread all over Iran. It is wrong to say that the virus is spread in one Province and not in others. (State TV, March 6, 2021)
Governor of Khuzestan said 244 coronavirus patients have died in the past 12 days, 83 of whom died less than 24 hours after entering the hospital. (Mehr news agency, March 7, 2021)
The Director of Nahavand Health Network said the media announced statistics relate to the hospitalized patients whose tests were positive and are not complete and comprehensive. (ISNA news agency, March 7, 2021)
Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences: in the previous coronavirus peak, the number of patients doubled every 17 days, but now it is doubling every nine days. (IRNA news agency, March 7, 2021)
West Azerbaijan University of Medical Sciences: there are 150 coronavirus patients in ICU in the Province, which is 17% more than the past nine days. (IRNA, March 7, 2021)
Abadan Medical Sciences University: the deputy dean said “If a quarantine period of at least two-weeks is not imposed in Khuzestan province, we are forecasting this peak will continue until around June 20. The death rate in this peak is concerning and we are worried more people will lose their lives,” (the semi-official ISNA news agency)
Approved vaccines ban
On March 1, 2021, a Member of the mullahs regime’s Parliamentary Security Committee said: “The rising numbers of the UK strain, the previous experience we had in refusing to impose quarantine measures in contaminated areas, the very sow process of purchasing coronavirus vaccines which is worse than even the world’s poorest countries, are all due to the officials’ negligence and without a doubt they are unacceptable,”.
