Coronavirus death toll
The dire situation of coronavirus fatalities continues in Iran, according to a thorough report compiled by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran) announced on, February 10, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 480 cities across Iran had exceeded 213,900.
The number of victims in Tehran is 51,371, Khorasan Razavi 14,350, Isfahan 13,690, Khuzestan 10,695, Mazandaran 8,932, Lorestan 8,753, Qom 8,190, West Azerbaijan 7,888, Golestan 5,554, Kermanshah 4,389, Semnan 3,215, Ardabil 2,652, and Hormozgan 2,285.
No prospects of public vaccination
While the Coronavirus death toll has reached 214,000 and there are no prospects of public vaccination.
Hassan Rouhani said:
“Thank God, we have passed a great danger. We were able to put behind the first, second, and third Coronavirus outbreak in great shape. No patient had to wait on the lawn outside the hospital, or on the street, or inside the ambulance. Vaccination has also started yesterday.”
Member of the Scientific Committee of the National Coronavirus Combat Taskforce (NCCT), said:
“The COVID-19 chain is cut when 45 million people are vaccinated, which requires about 100 million doses of vaccine.” (Arya state-run media, February 10, 2021)

Head of Khuzestan Provincial Health System said:
“The number of hospitalizations in the Province has doubled or tripled compared to previous weeks, in the past two weeks.” (IRNA news agency, February 10, 2021)
President of Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences said:
“Ahvaz and Shadegan are on alert for COVID-19, and there are no low-risk locations in Khuzestan Province. (Mehr news agency, February 10, 2021)

Head of ICU in Mashhad’s Akbar Hospital said:
“Since last March, out of 1,179 children hospitalized for COVID-19 in this hospital, 101 have died.” (ISNA news agency, February 10, 2021)
Isfahan University of Medical Sciences:
“The trend of Coronavirus infection has increased. In the past 24 hours, 2,394 COVID-19 suspected patients have referred to the hospital.” (Mehr, February 10, 2021)
