We have multiple Covid-19 vaccines that are now approved for use or very nearly at that stage, so most of the world can take a sigh of relief, as long as they remain six-feet away from others for the time being.
The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), reported that it’s different in Iran however, because the people living there are unlikely to receive a vaccine any time soon, especially not one delivered free by their government. The Iranian mullahs, who previously called the coronavirus “a divine blessing” because it would inhibit protests, have not bought any doses of the vaccine.
the regime is always trying to blame the international community:
Health Minister Said Namaki, president Hassan Rouhani, and Central Bank Chief Abdolnasser Hemmati, all blamed international sanctions, even though the sanctions have exemptions for medical and humanitarian aid.
Hemmati said that sanctions were stopping the regime from buying vaccines through the COVAX payment facility, which is jointly managed by Geneva-based Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and the World Health Organization, but a Gavi spokesperson rejected this saying that there is no “legal barrier” to Iran purchasing vaccines because the US Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control issued a license.
Even Nasser Riahi, the head of the Iranian Drug Importers’ Union, and Mohammad Reza Mahboubfar, a member of the Coronavirus Task Force, dismissed this claim.
Riahi said on December 9: “It is possible to transfer currency to buy the Covid-19 vaccine and other medicines, and the claims [that the regime’s officials] made in this case are not true.”
#Iran's people are suffering from the #coronavirus with nearly 190,000 deaths since the pandemic. However, providing the Iranian people the COVID-19 vaccine has remained in an aura of ambiguity, raising concerns and suspicions.https://t.co/Mb8EENORG1

While on December 14, Mahboubfar said: “The Covid-19 vaccine has been imported illegally from credential countries, and it is passed among elites, officials and their family members. The root of the people’s distrust lies not only with the Covid-19 crisis but also with many other social issues in the country.”
Cover-up and mismanagement:
At the beginning of the pandemic, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), reported that the regime downplayed the crisis to ensure that people turned out for the election and the regime anniversary parades – even though these were boycotted for other reasons. They also wanted to use it to control the population, banking on the Iranian people being terrified of catching a disease that was running rampant in their country, and not wanting to protest.
Shortly after the virus had reached all across Iran, the mullahs changed their tune and called the virus deadly, but this was all part of their plan. They even blamed the people for the spread of the disease, as if the people should have known all along not to trust the regime.
The increasing and unbridled trend of #Coronavirus patients and victims are the direct outcome of the inhumane and unpatriotic policies of Khamenei and Rouhani. Human lives are completely worthless in their eyes. #Iran pic.twitter.com/XfF1JKmyzW

(PMOI / MEK Iran) supporters believe the Iranians will survive the pandemic, but the regime won’t.
