Air crash in Iran

Iran: US officials have “high confidence” that an Iranian regime antiaircraft missile brought down a Ukrainian passenger jet near Tehran, resulting in 176 deaths

In the early morning of last Wednesday, a Boeing 737-800 belonging to the Ukraine International, crashed shortly after taking off from Tehran. All 176 passengers, most of them Iranians and some from other nationalities including Canada and Ukraine were killed. Iranian officials declared 147 Iranians amongst the victims. Ukraine’s national security council said that 11 Ukrainian citizens died in the crash, including nine crew members.

Iranian officials claimed that the incident was due to a technical failure; however, other reports indicated that the airplane had been targeted by the regime’s anti-aircraft units.

Iranian regime refused to cooperate with the international investigators and declared that they will not provide the black box of the crashed airplane to the Boeing.

Now, after three days, all evidence demonstrates that the civilian airplane has been shoot by a Russian made missile, fired by the Iranian regime.

New York Times wrote:

“Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada said his country had intelligence that an Iranian surface-to-air missile brought down the jetliner, which was carrying 63 Canadians among its some 176 passengers and crew.”

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Thursday “There is now a body of information that the flight was shot down by an Iranian Surface to Air Missile.”

USA Today wrote:

” U.S. intelligence sensors showed Iranian air-defense radar locked onto the passenger plane, the official said. Iran’s military then launched two SA-15 surface-to-air missiles and brought the plane down in a fiery crash.”

WSJ world also reported:

“U.S., Canadian and U.K. officials believe that a Ukrainian commercial aircraft that crashed shortly after takeoff from Tehran on Wednesday was downed by a Russian-made surface-to-air missile system fired by Iran…”

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) offered her condolences to the families of the victims and declared Friday as a day of mourning.

” Khamenei enraged and demoralized over the elimination of Qassem Soleimani, cannot challenge the United States, but has free reins in shooting at the people of Iran in the air and on the ground and takes revenge on the Iranian people. He is now threatening the Mujahedin-e Khalq (PMOI/MEK Iran) in Albania.” Mrs. Rajavi added.

NCRI in a statement said:

” Whereas the regime has falsely claimed that the aircraft crashed due to technical failure, Ukrainian officials are saying that the plane had no mechanical problems. US and UK officials are saying that the aircraft was shot down by the Iranian regime’s missiles. Fearing the exposure of this fiasco, the regime has announced that it will not hand over the black boxes, which determine the cause of the crash, to Boeing, the plane’s manufacturer.”
