In addition to a one-year prison sentence, she was sentenced to extra punishments, including the confiscation of her cell phone, a two-year ban on membership in political and social groups in cyberspace and on the ground, and a two-year ban on attending student meetings.

The public security officers raided Ms. Amiri’s home on January 3, according to her lawyer, Amir Raisian. However, because of her absence, they verbally notified her family that she should go to Branch 2 of the Evin Prosecutor’s Office on January 8.Raisian went on to say that Hasti Amiri’s activity at the university on women’s rights, as well as her posts in cyberspace on the right to life and the death penalty, are among the charges brought against her.

Meanwhile, according to the student union councils, security forces arrested on Friday, March 1, Pardis Rabii, a genetics student at Kharazmi University, and transferred to an unknown location.

Pardis Rabii, 23, is a genetics student from Yazd. She is a women’s rights activist who is concerned about honour killings. She was underway developing a comprehensive encyclopedia on Iranian women who had been victims of tradition, sharia, and honor killings.
