The number of victims across Iran
The number of victims in Tehran has reached 66,401, Isfahan 18,875, Khuzestan 17,659, Khorasan Razavi 17,595, Mazandaran 11,725, Lorestan 11,695, East Azerbaijan 11,683, West Azerbaijan 10,648, Qom 9,425, Fars 9,182, Alborz 7,738, Kerman 6,428, Central Province 5,963, Kermanshah 5,694, North Khorasan 4,203, Ardabil 3,647, Hormozgan 3,335, Zanjan 3,150, Ilam 3,051, South Khorasan 2,701, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 2,239.
(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): COVID-19 fatalities in 541 cities exceed 286,200. Tehran in crisis: As long as we don’t have a national system to evaluate mutated viruses, we will always be facing threats and we need to definitely provide measures to have an immediate and timely response,” said a senior health official in Tehran.

The head of the National Coronavirus Combat Taskforce (NCCT) in Tehran Spokesperson Alireza Zali said: We have 7,350 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in Tehran; 1,980 of whom are in ICU. In the past 24 hours, 1,050 new patients were admitted. (IRNA news agency, May 12, 2021)

Mashhad University of Medical Sciences Spokesperson said: The COVID-19 situation in the Province is fragile. We have 1,276 patients hospitalized, 358 of whom in ICU and the COVID-19 death toll is still in double digits. (ISNA news agency, May 12, 2021)

Zahedan University of Medical Sciences Spokesperson said: The positive cases of English COVID-19 variants have replaced the previous type and 80% of the infections in the Province is from this variant. (IRNA, May 12, 2021)

Rouhani brazenly lied again
Rouhani brazenly claimed, today: “While in modern and advanced European countries people were in line for food, hygiene, and the stores were empty from 10 am; even for medicine, treatment, and hospital beds, (they had to wait in line), these did not happen in our country. The shops were not looted. Long queues did not form, and people did not have to wait for hospitals to admit them and did not sleep on the grass in the hospital yard.” While doctors, specialists, and nurses are crying out over major shortages.

By banning the import of the vaccine, they are creating a bigger disaster.
