(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): Iran coronavirus update: Over 234,600 deaths, over 54,711 in Tehran alone.
The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), reported that the coronavirus death toll in 518 cities surpasses 234,600.
The coronavirus fatalities
The number of victims in Tehran is 54,711, Khorasan Razavi 15,300, Isfahan 15,245, Khuzestan 13,299, Mazandaran 10,020, Lorestan 9,868, East Azerbaijan 9,178, Fars 6,912, Alborz 5,813, Kermanshah 4,709, Kurdistan 4,047, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 1,880.
Head of Izeh Martyrs Hospital said: We are under pressure and in a crisis due to the increase in COVID-19 patients. We had to set up a second COVID-19 ward and the patients were transferred from the emergency room to this ward. (Mehr news agency, March 20, 2021)

Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: The number of COVID-19 hospitalizations in Khuzestan Province during the past two days has reached 1,715. (Mehr, March 20, 2021)
Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: The number of patients with British variant of COVID-19 has reached 207. The death toll is 33% higher than last week. (ISNA news agency, March 20, 2021)
Yazd University of Medical Sciences spokesperson said: 117 definite cases of COVID-19 were registered last night, which is a record in recent months. (IRNA news agency, March 19, 2021)
The MEK, the Iranian opposition to the mullahs’ regime, has been monitoring the situation since the beginning of the outbreak because the corrupt mullahs’ regime cannot be trusted to be honest in such situations. The regime claims that the numbers of people have died – just a sixth of the figure stated by the MEK.
Khamenei and Rouhani strategy of causing massive human casualties
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi in her Nowruz speech, said as the Iranian Resistance stated, when the coronavirus first spread to Iran, Khamenei and Rouhani have adopted the strategy of causing massive human casualties and sending people to the minefields of the coronavirus to protect the regime from the threat of uprisings and from being overthrown.

In the case of the coronavirus, initially, it was inconceivable for many to believe that Khamenei and Rouhani are deliberately sending people to their demise. Their criminal policy has to date taken the lives of more than 234,600 of our compatriots so far.
If, as we said from the outset, Khamenei had allocated part of the resources amassed in foundations under his control and parts of what he spends in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Gaza, and Lebanon, to confront the coronavirus, the scope of the disaster would have been much less.
Indeed, the coronavirus and the virus of the Velayat-e Faqih are allies. Khamenei even accepted the disgrace of his inhuman policy for preventing the import of vaccines to Iran.
