Protests

(NCRI) and (PMOI / MEK Iran): the uprising of our Baluchi compatriots belongs to all the people of Iran.

There have been days of protests in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan in Iran following the brutal killing of fuel porters by agents of the notorious Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran), the main opposition to the Iranian regime, has reported that there have been dozens of deaths and casualties.

People from local cities and villages have protested in solidarity

Despite the heavy presence of IRGC forces with tanks and heavy artillery, people from local cities and villages have protested in solidarity with the victims of the violent attack. A few nights ago, locals in Meh Gas blocked access to their town.

In Suran, residents also blocked the main access to their town. The locals have been protesting for days and there is a very heavy security presence, with authorities clearly worried that the situation will deteriorate further.

Protests Continue in Province of Sistan

The atmosphere can only be described as tense and the security forces have been cracking down on the protesters, but the people are courageously holding their ground in solidarity with the victims.

In an attempt to control the situation, the regime has transferred security forces from other parts of the country, but it has made no difference to the situation as the people are showing that they will not stand down.

Resistance Units have been organizing activities across the country

The (PMOI / MEK Iran)’s internal network of Resistance Units have been organizing activities across the country to express their solidarity.

For example, huge posters depicting the Resistance leaders Massoud Rajavi and Maryam Rajavi have been put up in Isfahan. In other cities including Goshneh, Tabriz, Shiraz, Shahriar, Kermanshah, and many more, the Resistance Units graffitied slogans in public areas.

The slogans were in support of the people of Saravan, such as:

“Hail to the brave people of Saravan who stood against tyranny and religious dictatorship” and “Saravan is not alone”.

Anti-regime slogans were also written across cities, such as:

“The mullahs will pay for the ongoing bloodshed” and “Down with Khamenei, down with the IRGC”.

The Resistance Units have been instrumental in supporting the people of Iran, amplifying their voices when the regime has tried so hard to silence them.

The regime recognizes the strength and the following of the Iranian Resistance and it is considering it as one of the biggest threats to its survival.

After years and years of repression, the people have had enough. They know the regime is incapable of reform and they just want to see the mullahs lose their power.

The Iranian Resistance has been a great support to the people

The Iranian Resistance has been a great support to the people over the past few decades and it is gaining international recognition for the work it is doing.

Although this recognition is positive, the international community also needs to take decisive action against the regime that not only violates the human rights of its people but also is the biggest state sponsor of terrorism in the world.

The threat of the Iranian regime is not just a domestic one – it is a threat to the entire international community.
