The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK Iran) has reported that more than 198,900 people have died in Iran after contracting COVID-19. Every single province has been affected, including 478 cities across the country.
The Iranian regime’s official death toll at the same point on Thursday stands at just 55,933 – about a third of that reported by the opposition.

The (PMOI / MEK Iran) has been keeping a close eye on the situation since the very beginning because it knew that the regime could not be trusted to accurately report on the situation. It has said that the death toll in Tehran alone is 48,681.
Mullahs regime continues to lie about the vaccine
As countries across the world start to or continue to roll out their vaccination programs, the people of Iran are left wondering what the situation is in their country. The regime has failed to be transparent about the vaccine issue and officials are contradicting one another, while others are hesitant to answer direct questions. And of course, many officials have outright lied.
Earlier this week, Deputy Health Minister Iraj Harirchi said that the Minister of Health is the only official that should be talking about the vaccine at the current time. He said that reports of the vaccine being distributed in a part of Tehran are a complete fabrication.
The chair of the Medical Apparatus Organization warned that any delays in obtaining the vaccine will “lead to significant issues for people’s health” across the country. They said that the period of illness is being prolonged and if the situation continues as it does, it will cause irreparable damage to the people’s lives and to the health system. The official recommended that all efforts must be put into obtaining a vaccine.
A member of the regime’s parliament said on the same day that there have indeed been delays but that Iranian scientists would hopefully be in a position to mass-produce the vaccine by June or July.
In a heinous act of weaponizing the #COVID19 affliction to shield his moribund regime against people’s uprising, Khamenei issued the death sentence of countless Iranians by banning the internationally approved COVID-19 vaccines. Health crisis across the country
Speaking about the gravity of the health crisis that is touching every part of the country, the chair of the National Coronavirus Task Force Security Committee said earlier this week that the country does not have a single white-zone (the area that is free of the virus). The chair reportedly said that every city in Mazandaran, Gilan, and Golestan provinces in the northern part of the country are either red or orange zones.
The dean of West Azerbaijan Medical Sciences University said in the past few days that the province has been through three waves so far and with each wave the death toll doubles. The dean indicated that the third wave has been devastating and that there has been a 250 percent increase in new cases when compared to other areas of the country.
They said that if the region experiences a fourth wave, there will be an increase of around 3,200 people requiring hospital attention, making a very worrying situation for hospitals and medical centers.

Maryam Rajavi Statment
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran’s (NCRI): Vaccines are people’s right. The death toll is nearing 200,000, but Khamenei says no vaccines could be imported from the US, UK, and France. By huge human casualties, he seeks to fend off popular uprisings. The Coronavirus and Khamenei are allied against the people of Iran.
Khamenei’s Red Crescent announced a ban on the import of 150,000 Pfizer/Bio Ntech vaccines. This costs people’s lives and is tantamount to their deliberate massacre.
Having access to vaccines is an inalienable right of the sick and the people of Iran. By such criminal measures, the clerical regime will not be able to counter people’s protests and uprising.
