Last Thursday the U.S. Department of State announced the imposition of new sanctions against the Iranian regime’s Atomic Energy Organization, along with its Chief, Ali-Akbar Salehi. The sanctions, which were imposed in coordination with the U.S. Department of Treasury, were announced during the State Department’s daily press briefing.
